Grumpy Bear is the passion project of two guys from a dry river valley in a desert state who were raised on their parents' record collections, '80s pop radio, MTV, and processed food. Grumpy Bear's music is self-recorded, -mixed, and -produced and doesn't fit very well in a specific genre, but indie rock, alt-folk, alternative, new wave, and post-punk are labels that get thrown around a lot.
